Get an online saving account
Thursday October 16, 2008
If you are making regular contributions to your savings accounts, but feel that you are not earning enough interest, or that you feel the account keeping fees are too high, you might be better off with online savings accounts.
An online saving account will often have a competitively high interest rate and very minimal fees. These features are what makes online savings accounts so attractive. An online saving account can be very useful, helping you manage your money and save.
You cannot access the money in an online saving account with a bankcard as you can with other savings accounts. Using online banking, you can transfer money in and out of your online saving account - the trick being that you need to be online to do your transactions. You can't withdraw money from an ATM as you have no card. Some banks stipulate that over the counter transactions cannot be processed for online bank accounts.
So if you want to save more money, compare savings accounts and find the right online saving account for you.
